I sent a claim in over 45 days ago and heard nothing. I've emailed more than 10 times with no reply and I've lost count of the amount of times I've phoned. The calls go as follows..on hold minimum 1 hour, either you have the phone put down on you before you get to speak to someone or the phone goes quiet and your left on a line to eventually go dead. I have a large claim that's leaving me feel very anxious about how I'm to pay bills etc. If this wasn't an actual company I would be questioning how legitimate it was..After over 20 phone calls, I'm yet to have a conversation as to where my claim is at - they either hang up or the phone goes silent this is what happens on every call. This is causing a lot of stress, I wouldn't ever use or recommend this company again

Easy to amend a policy
I didn't find the site, easy peasy to navigate, but once I'd got to grips with it, it was all very straight forward. I was very impressed with how quickly it was all processed and my documents were ready to be printed in a very short time. People that are more technology comfortable than me, will have no difficulties at all.

You only really know how good an insurance company is when you need their help - and I wish I had never involved them.
Last week I stupidly put the wrong fuel in my car - my fault I know but I remembered I was covered as part of my insurance, so though I would make my first claim in over a decade. Big Mistake.
All it needs is the tank draining, which I have since found out is a small job.
They told me the car would be uplifted and a courtesy car provided. I needed this to get to work that night. The recovery company knew nothing about this. They did drop me off at home. I tried ringing Axa back - I was 85th in the queue and then they closed before I got an answer. I had the same problem the next day, which was a Friday and they close for the weekend. Still no courtesy car by the way.
I contacted the recovery company on the Saturday and my car was still there.
It stayed there all weekend and I contacted AXA on the Monday. I was told they would get things moving - they have not.
I was told they had passed it on the Vizion who were sorting it out. I got in touch with them, they gave me details of the garage who was fixing my car, I then in turn rang them. They informed me they had rejected the job on the previous Thursday and had told Vizion.
Rang Vision again - who then agreed that had happened and did not know why nothing more was done. They did not even know where my car was - I had to tell them!
They have passed it on to another garage and told me they would be in contact that day. Guess what - they have not.
Both Axa and Vizion do keep asking me if I would like to cancel the claim! That would be my preference at this point, it really would, but they will only take my my car to my home address - and not a garage that I use for all my servicing needs etc.
This is a complete mess. My local garage told me I would have had my car back by the following day!
To add insult to injury - they tell me my excess will be £150. Now that would be OK if if the job did not cost less than that ! My local garage have quoted me less than a hundred - Axa is making a profit here !!
Unbelievable.
Still no sign of a fix, still no sign of a courtesy car.
Oh yes just for good measure - try logging on the site for contact - no really give it a go. You log in, you click on the contact section and it takes you back to the log in screen!
Do not trust promises made in the policy.
Claim ref 200-038-5333 will show this is all correct.

I tried change my car insurance from business to the most basic as I no longer need the car for my job and my premium went up ??? I contacted the online help who initially said there was nothing they could do to but did try to help when I tried to cancel my insurance completely. Even then it was a tiny reduction. I don’t know where they get their figures from and I won’t be renewing with them.

Rubbish customer service
Rubbish customer service. Don’t even pick up the phone and if they do they can’t even help you half the time or know what they’re doing. Just wanted to change something on my policy and the website wouldn’t work, go figure the people were the same.
